Scott and Mark are having a sea change and saying goodbye to South Australia!

We have both enjoyed our time here is SA for the last 23+ years and calling it our home and with meeting so many wonderful people over our time here and we have made some amazing close friends.

We have finally sold our property after a change in agent. So we are now busily packing up ready for our big move in a few weeks time.

We are both looking forward to our big move, starting a new chapter and the new endeavours that lie ahead for our future. Till we meet again, we will be thinking of you.

While we were running Riverview House Younghusband, we met some amazing wonderful guests and few of them became life long friends. We like to thank you all for booking and supporting us especially during COVID and the lead up to the floods. The guests that booked us during stages 1-3 of the river revival. We would also like you to thank all our business partners, supporters and followers. (Riverview House Younghusband is closed for business now)

Our paths will cross again if the stars ✨ are aligned! 🌟 We say goodbye to our dark sky reserve backyard and the amazing Murray River views we have everyday!

We regret to inform you that Riverview House Young

We regret to inform you that Riverview House Younghusband have now closed its doors for our Bed and Breakfast business.

The property is being listed with a new real estate agent in the coming days and we are currently selling many items from the house and business through Marketplace.

Our time has come to say goodbye to all our past guests, visitors and our suppliers as Mark and Scott, turn over a new leaf and start a new chapter in their life.

Well that’s a wrap! All our guests have just departed after the Murray Mindfulness Retreat, all feeling relaxed and rejuvenated for their last two days and nights.

We are so happy that our guests that stayed at Riverview House YoungHusband expressed how lovely the house was, the service we provide to each and everyone.

Then to top it off the catering we supplied offsite at Riverview Lodge on the river front “design your own wood fire pizza” for lunch and then for dinner, we supplied a formal sit down 2-course dinner which consisted of Lamb Shanks, bush tomato and saltbush or Marinated Salmon fillet with finger lime hollandaise followed by with dessert of Orange and Wattleseed Pudding and warm custard. One of the many comments was the food was superb and couldn’t fault it and we understand why Kelly always said if the food is good for the late Queen Mother then it is good for us too!

We would like to thank Kel from Juggle House Experiences for asking Scott & Mark of Riverview House Younghusband to do and year again with her.

Mark and Scott enjoyed it immensely once again and we would also like to thank all the attendees for booking and making the past retreat such a success.

Scott & Mark would like to thank all of our past valued guests for choosing to book and stay at the International Award-winning Riverview House Younghusband for 2023 & 2024 in the past five years and we have put together a RHY Mates Rates. If you wish to extend your stay with extra nights nights let us know and we will offer you a special rate for the additional nights which would still include the Riverview House full breakfast.

All the normal booking conditions do still apply, as these bookings are non-refundable and payment by card will incur a 2.5% fee on the overall booking. Invoices can be arranged for all prepayment.

These special rates are valid and inclusive up until the last night 30 June 2024.
