Mark and Scott were hospitable and friendly. Great conversationalists and yet gave us the space we needed to wind down. We asked for two dinner meals to be prepared for us (extra cost at a very reasonable price), it was delicious, and every effort was made to cater for our preferred cuisine. The home was clean and welcoming with interesting décor to ponder beautiful frosted and etched glass. The views of the river and the sounds of the birds is unsurpassed. The house is large and accommodating of multiple people, and while children are welcome and the house is family-friendly, it was the beautiful quiet getaway that we were looking for as a couple.  

Where do I start? The couple who run it Scott & Mark made my 2 days stay, perfect. Before I began my journey an email arrived to say that my room is being upgraded. WOW!!! On my arrival, I was not only greeted by Scott and Mark but also their neighbours and friends that stayed and enjoy a dinner party. My room was bright and modern with crisp clean linen.

When standing on the landing the architecture of the house with the large glass doors and glass arch made it so you could look out onto the lagoon and river like it was my own private view. I loved drinking my favourite wine in front of the fireplace in the comfy plush lounge suite too. The food prepared was all home-cooked recipes that were made with locally sourced ingredients. Delicious! Mark who had some spare time accompanied me on a shopping trip showing me where I was able to buy plants, antiques, and home-made relishes, jams and sauces to take home. I highly recommend this B&B and its proprietors, Scott and Mark.
