A memorable long weekend for a girls getaway awaits you at Riverview House Younghusband with our Ladies Flower Crown Weekend. Indulge and celebrate with your girlfriends with our 3 night stay, Thursday arrival and Sunday departure.

Riverview House offers warm and relaxing “home away from home” accommodation with 5 comfortable spacious rooms. Enjoy views over the Gowlings Wetlands & Lagoon and the mighty and majestic Murray River from the lounge and dining rooms, or our river view deck. THURSDAY: FLOWER CROWN WORKSHOP

  • Enjoy a bottle of wine accompanied by a cheese and antipasto platter with locally sourced cheeses.
  • Flower Crown Workshop with Flowers by Terese, using an array of fresh flowers and greenery.

FRIDAY: JURLIQUE FARM TOUR HILLS GOURMET PICNIC

  • Delicious continental breakfast of cereal, juice, fresh fruit, and yoghurt. Followed by a hot plated breakfast with locally produced bacon, locally sourced trussed tomatoes and mushrooms with the chef’s choice of eggs daily.
  • A day trip to remember, Jurlique Farm Tour & Hills Gourmet Picnic by Juggle House Experiences, departing at at 9:00am.
    • Tour the magnificent biodynamic farm home of Jurlique – one of the world’s most recognised skincare brands.
    • Indulge in a chocolate and fine wine matching at Hahndorf Hill Winery
    • Enter the land of the long lunch at The Lane Vineyard. 
  • Returning to Riverview House Younghusband around 5:00pm, relax on the deck overlooking the Murray River
  • Enjoy a two-course dinner with your hosts, Scott & Mark. Our Dine with the Host 2 course dinner includes a complimentary glass of wine and commences around 7:00pm.

SATURDAY: EXPLORE & DINE

  • Delicious continental breakfast of cereal, juice, fresh fruit, and yoghurt. Followed by a hot plated breakfast with locally produced bacon, locally sourced trussed tomatoes and mushrooms with the chef’s choice of eggs daily.
  • Choose your own self drive discovery tour for a day of exploring our beautiful region. Be inspired with our recommendations for Things To Do and Food and Wine experiences in the Mannum Region.
  • End the day with dinner at Pretoria Hotel, booked by your hosts and paid at your own expense. Kick up your heels and show off your amazing flower crowns creations whilst enjoying dinner, drinks and entertainment.

SUNDAY: CHAMPAGNE BREAKFAST

  • Before we say goodbye, we wish you all well with a champagne breakfast.
  • Check out is by 11:00am.

This package is based on ten ladies sharing and getting away and enjoying a beautiful curated weekend together. Get together you and nine of your lady friends and come and enjoy a relaxing peaceful weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of you everyday life and put some time into yourself.

  • Book and stay between April – September 2023 and we will offer you an additional 5% discount.

  • Book from a selection of Partner Tours, including, to explore the many things to do in the Murray River, Lakes and Coorong region.
  • Explore the Riverview House backyard with a tour of the Dark Sky Reserve, Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park or Murray River Highlights with our tour partner, Juggle House Experiences.
  • Stay an additional night and enjoy a bed & breakfast discounted rate.
  • Additional nights including cooked breakfast at $150 per room per night.
  • Pre-payment of this package is required and booking is confirmed until payment is received by River House Younghusband
  • This package is non-refundable, unless it is due to a Covid variant Pandemic in Australia, which we will transfer to a new date (subject to availability)
  • Package price is based on 10 persons sharing ($7,850.)
  • All card payments incur a 2.5% card payment surcharge.

  • Arrival must be Thursday and departure on Sunday morning to be able to incorporate the flower crown workshop and Jurlique tour.
